CAPITA Financial Group has built strong ties to the arts and its community over the years. One of its long-standing relationships has been its support of the Mosaic Concert Series, which allows budding students of music and the arts the opportunity to collaborate with veterans, working closely with professional entertainers and producers to gain important skills.
CAPITA’s relationship with the Concert Series, held in March of every year (except during the COVID-19 pandemic), started on March 17, 2015, when the company identified an alignment with its community engagement initiatives and Mosaic’s mandate. Since the planting of the seed several years ago, the Mosaic Concert Series has bloomed into a much-anticipated event on Barbados’ cultural calendar. It was not a novel idea to bring together the wealth of musicians and entertainers on one stage, but it certainly has been the most enduring. CAPITA’s support and continuing commitment to this endeavour have cemented the Concert Series’ success.
“Music brings people together,” says Ayo Burrowes, Chairman of the Mosaic Concert Series Committee. “We are grateful for the 10-year relationship with CAPITA that has ensured that young students can rub shoulders on and off stage with many who have made music their profession, and we are happy to be part of CAPITA’s journey on their fifteenth anniversary.”
CAPITA Financial Group will once again collaborate with Mosaic in March 2026, when the Concert Series pays tribute to members of the veteran band, Spice and Co.
