Capita Financial Services Inc. stands as a trusted financial institution in Barbados, providing a full range of banking and investment solutions designed to empower individuals and businesses alike. Incorporated in Barbados, the company operates from its headquarters on the 2nd Floor of the Co-operators General Insurance Building, Upper Collymore Rock, St. Michael, and maintains a regional presence with a branch in St. Lucia, which was acquired in August 2010.
A wholly-owned subsidiary of the Barbados Public Workers’ Cooperative Credit Union Limited (BPWCCUL), through BPW Financial Holdings Inc., Capita Financial is licensed under the Financial Institutions Act, Cap 324A, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory and ethical standards within Barbados’ financial sector.

Capita’s story began in May 1984 when it was first established as the Caribbean Commercial Trust Company. Over the decades, the organisation has evolved to meet the changing needs of the financial landscape. Following its acquisition by BPWCCUL, the company was rebranded in September 2010 as Capita Financial Services Inc., a move that marked the start of a new era of innovation, customer-centricity, and regional expansion.
