Anne-Marie Burke Brewster is a seasoned Human Resources Manager in the Barbados Public Service with over 18 years of experience in people development, talent strategy, and organizational leadership. She also brings 14 years of expertise in government accounting, offering a rare blend of financial insight and human-centered governance.
Anne-Marie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Administrative Management, a Master of Science in Human Resources, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Mediation, equipping her with the strategic, interpersonal, and analytical skills essential for board leadership. As a committed Trade Unionist, she advocates for fair labor practices, inclusive workplaces, and ethical decision-making.
Her life demonstrates that she volunteers and believes in giving back, as seen in her roles as an HIV/AIDS hotline counselor and her support for the Barbados Water Polo Team. She has accompanied them to various competitions both at home and abroad, as well as the Barbados Jazz Excursion. She continues to serve in other areas and is willing to be part of any entity that gives positive vibes. Her peeve is poor service.
