Mrs. Patterson joined the Capita Insurance Brokers (CIB) team in 2023 bringing with her over 15 years of invaluable experience in the insurance industry. She is the first ‘In house’ Financial Accountant of CIB.

Mrs. Patterson is equipped with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Management (Credit) obtained from the University of Guyana.  Thereafter she pursued further studies and obtained the double designation of Certified Professional Accountant, Certified General Accountant in 2007.  She continues to further equip herself to better achieve her goal of being the best that she can be in the performance of her duties.  In this regard, since joining the CIB team, she has accepted the opportunity to embark upon and complete a Supervisory Management Skills course offered by the Centre for Professional Development and Lifelong Learning, UWI.

Additionally she capitalized on another opportunity to enhance her continued professional development by attending and completing a course entitled Certified IFRS Specialist with ESG reporting (International Financial Reporting Standard Specialist with Environmental, Social Governance) offered by the International Business and Economic Forum.

Apart from deriving much enjoyment from utilizing her acquired skills to fully benefit the valued stakeholders of CIB, Mrs. Patterson also enjoys extensive reading, playing engaging board games and a good healthy conversation.

Her faith in God continues to serve as her inspiration to always perform at her best, which understandably, has resulted in her adopting one of her mantras in life “why settle for good, when better is possible.”
