Sonia Hall-Hunte is an experienced Card Services professional with over two decades of expertise in the banking and private sectors. She currently serves as the Card Services Manager at Capita Financial Services Inc. (CFSI), where she leads the operations of the newly established Card Services Department. In this role, she oversees the strategic relationship between MasterCard and CFSI’s IT vendor, supports the launch of the International Debit Card, and manages services for BPWCCUL while facilitating the onboarding of additional credit unions and financial institutions. Her work spans a dual operational structure involving both CFSI and BPWCCUL.

Sonia’s career includes senior roles such as Manager of Operations at CariCard, Manager of Card Services at Republic Bank (Barbados) Ltd., Consultant and Marketing Manager at Digicel, and Subject Matter Expert in Technology Projects at FirstCaribbean International Bank.

She holds an MBA from Durham University, has completed coursework in the CGA program, and is accredited through the Life Management Institute (FLMI). Outside of her professional life, Sonia is passionate about line dancing, Latin and ballroom dance, and enjoys nurturing her garden filled with plants and flowers.
